Account Tools

  1. What are the Account Administrator Tools?
    These are a set of tools that we developed to allow administators a self service method of updating certain account information (i.e. administrator contact information, IP addresses, etc.). From this site the administrator can also view their usage reports and access information.
  2. How do I find out how my account accesses World Book Online?
    In Manage Account, click on any of the account products. Here you will find the ID/Password, IP addresses, and/or Referring URL links your account(s) use(s) to access World Book Online.
  3. How do I update my contact information?
    Under the Manage Account tab, you can change the school and administrator's contact info including name, phone number, addresss, etc.
  4. How do I change the password for my school's access to the World Book Online?
    Under the Manage Account tab, there is an area at the bottom of the page where you can make changes to the password for your WBORC access; or you can call our customer service department at (800) 975-3250.
  5. How do I view and download MARC records?
    After you log into your account, you may click on the link to the right in the Downloads section. This will bring you to a page where you can download all of our current MARC records.
  6. How do I change the RSS feed for the homepage of Advanced?
    When you've logged into your account, click on the Localization link in the top navigation menu. There, you can change the primary news feed and the secondary news feed by choosing from the dropdown menus.
