A featured video from the extensive multimedia collection appears on the homepage; use the controls at the bottom to start, pause, or stop the video. 3. The What's New feature highlights new and revised content recently added to World Book Student. 4. Research Tools include How to Do Research, a step-by-step tutorial for research skills for students and educators, My Research, a personalized account to save research results, and a Timelines feature that gives students options to view pre-made timelines or create their own. 5. The Biography Center includes more than 10,000 biographies, which are searchable by four criteria: occupation/area of work, gender, nationality/ethnicity, and time period. 6. Quizzes and activities include trivia quizzes, in-depth, curriculum-based features, and Surf the Ages, our site that explores the question, “What if the Web had existed since ancient times?” 7. The Today feature is a RSS news feed from PBS, updated regularly. 8. The Explore features in World Book Student include resource guides for states, provinces, countries, and other geographic features. 9.
