Whiz (Level 1)

Purpose:

• Become an expert of World Book Online.
• Level 1 prepares you to share your knowledge & expertise with your colleagues & network of users.

Prerequisite:

• Subscribe to World Book Online

Requirements

• Attend an introductory webinar (register at the bottom of this page)
• Complete the application to join
• Complete the required courses found on the Whiz certification page. NOTE: Users will be given access to the courses after attending the introductory webinar AND completing the application.

Creator (Level 2)

Purpose:

• Get recognized as a super-user.
• Creator users are well-versed in ingenuity and creatively integrate content into teaching and learning. Become a Creator to share ideas with like-minded educators and the World Book team.

Prerequisites:

• Subscribe to World Book Online
• Actively use World Book Online in your school or library
• Successful completion of Whiz requirements

Requirements

• Create a unique lesson, activity, or WebQuest using World Book Online. Samples can be found here.
• Submit your lesson or activity
• Join the World Book Insiders Facebook group & share an idea!

• Creator certificate of completion
• Creator badge for email signature
• The chance to be featured on our Meet the Insiders page (optional)
