eBooks Accounts

eBooks allows users to personalize the digital library through an individual account called a My World Book Account. To learn more about these accounts and how to create one outside of eBooks, click here. We recommend signing in to your account when using eBooks because it allows you to save books and customize your experience. Read below to learn more about account management.


Sign in to an existing account

If you already have a My World Book Account, you can log in with the same username and password in eBooks.

  1. In the top right corner of eBooks, click the profile icon.

  3. Select Sign in.
  4. Enter your username and password where indicated and click Sign in.

    You are now logged in to your personal account. Any Favorites, Recently Viewed books, and annotations will automatically save so that you can access them any time you log in.

Create an account

  1. Open eBooks from a computer.
  2. In the top right corner, click the profile icon.

  4. Click Create an Account.

  6. A form to create your account will pop up. Fill in the form by providing the information requested in each box. form

    a. Under Account Type, use the drop-down menu to choose the account type that fits your role.

    b. Under Security Question, use the drop-down to choose a question to which you know you will remember the answer.

  7. Once all fields are complete, click Create Account. The following screen will appear to indicate that your account was successfully created:

  9. To return to the eBook library home page, click on the tab marked World Book Reader in your browser.
  10. return to ebooks
  11. You are now logged in to your eBooks account so any Favorites, Recently Viewed books, or annotations will automatically save to your account.

  1. In the top right corner, click the profile icon.
