eBooks app

Subscribers using a supported tablet or mobile device may download the eBooks app for offline viewing. Read below for information on device requirements, where to find the app, and basic navigation.

Supported Apple devices

iPhone 6 and above
iPad Mini
iPad 2 and above

Note: Apple devices must be on iOS 9 and above. If you are not sure what device or iOS you have, please go to Settings→ General→About on your Apple device to get the model number and iOS version. You can also find a list of Apple devices on Apple's website.

Supported Android devices

Samsung Galaxy
Google Nexus

Note: Android devices must be on 4.4 (KitKat) and above.

Access the World Book eBooks app in the Apple app store!

Access the World Book eBooks app on Google Play!

We recommend you download the app and eBooks via Wi-Fi. Downloading via a mobile network, such as 3G or LTE, may incur excessive charges.

Access and download books on the app

To access books on the app, you must first log in using your personal My World Book Account username and password.

Books on the app are organized by subject.
Search for eBooks by author, title, or ISBN.
Tap the download button on the cover of any eBook to download the book to your device.
Browse books by subject from the drop-down menu on the top left-hand side of the page.
To view all of the books that you have downloaded, choose Show Downloaded on the top of the drop-down menu.
To remove a downloaded book from your device, choose more info and then tap the delete button.
