Google Drive

Google drive is a cloud based storage site where users can save and share documents and other media for easy access from anywhere. Many World Book products offer the option to save World Book content directly to Google Drive, all you need is a google account.

Note: If you are a Google school, we integrate with G Suite for education allowing students to bypass the login steps.


Save to Google Drive

Anyone with a Google account can save content from within World Book directly to their Google Drive. This is a great tool for collaboration!

  1. In the tools menu, select Save and then choose Google Drive.

  2. If a user is not yet logged in to their Google account, they will be prompted to log in or select their account.

  3. If this is the first time saving to Google Drive, a user might need to grant access.

  4. If they are already logged in, they will receive a confirmation message that the content has been successfully saved to their drive.

Access saved content

To access saved content and organize in to group folders for collaboration or unit folders for planning, follow the steps below.

  1. Open Chrome, or another browser where you are signed in to your Google account and navigate to your G-drive.

  2. Content will appear under Quick Links or Recently Viewed.

  3. From here, they can move the item into their desired location or folder if planning for a unit or sharing with a group.
