World Resources provide a variety of resources for studying world geography, statistics, and general knowledge.
1. Interactive Maps offer a unique way to explore information. Search or browse for World Book articles geotagged to latitude and longitude coordinates on the Interactive Map using the search box or color-coded key of World Book pins. You can also display the map in satellite or map view.
2. The World Book Atlas provides up-to-date, full-color maps of the world, continents, countries, states and provinces, and many cities. A user can navigate through the Atlas by clicking labels on the maps. Many of the locations of Academic World Bookís maps are linked to other content, including other regional maps as well as maps showing meteorological, economic, topographical, and political details. A list of all the links appears in a column to the left of the map.
3. Compare Places allows users to compare two continents, countries, states, provinces, or a combination of these side-by-side.
