Great Wall of China

The Great Wall of China stretches about 5,500 miles (8,850 kilometers) across northern China. It was originally built to keep out invaders. The Great Wall includes about 3,890 miles (6,260 kilometers) of handmade walls as well as such natural barriers as rivers and hills.
